- Adeptus Mechanicus Sicarian Ruststalkers -

Sicarian Ruststalkers are the elite Skitarii assassins of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Initially an elite assassination squad, the Sicarian Ruststalkers proved so effective at the art of killing that they were repurposed as front-line, physics-manipulating commandos. Their transonic weapons hum and resonate with sickening efficiency, passing through the strongest armour as if it simply didn’t exist. These highly trained and augmented squads are led by Princeps.

I am the Bone of my Sword
Steel is my Body and Fire is my Blood.
I have created over a Thousand Blades,
Unknown to Death,
Nor known to Life.
Have withstood Pain to create many Weapons
Yet those Hands will never hold Anything.
So, as I Pray--
Unlimited Blade Works

Right, now for the science behind it.

Bolters are scary, absolute horrendous weapons that you do not want to see pointed at you. For the purposes of research, I'll only go for the Astartes-sized Bolters.

A Bolt from a Bolter works like a small rocket packed into a bullet. A powerful antipersonnel weapon that fires miniaturized armor-piercing rocket-enchanced bullets that have a delayed impact fuse. Bolters undergo multiple stages to fire a bolt.

The first stage is the solid propellant which fires the bolt out of the barrel, just like a standard bullet. Next the rocket-booster kicks in, giving it an absolutely devastating punch in close quarters up to medium range. What this means is that the projectiles it fires are designed to punch through armor and THEN explode, causing significant if not immediately fatal damage to whatever it hits.

Keep in mind that these are .75 caliber or 19.05mm rounds a shot, making it absurdly effective against infantry and light vehicles. And at 20 to 30 bolts per standard 'sickle' magazine.

And that's not even talking about the specific other types of bolts like Kraken rounds, Vengeance rounds, etc.

The science behind a boltgun

Besides, I don't think a fact takes up enough space to be considered a story
Basically you were putting up biographies rather than a strait fact
Something like "this daemon was killed here" and "this Space Marine killed this Warboss"
We aren't asking for autobiographies

- PRIMARCH LEMAN RUSS -

Leman Russ, also known as the Wolf King and the Great Wolf during his lifetime, is the currently missing Primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines. He led the Space Wolves Legion during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy and is famed in Imperial history for his hatred of psychic powers and sorcery, which he viewed as dishonourable. Some recent rumours claim that he is the unknown Space Wolves Great Company Wolf Lord behind the recent return of the Space Wolves' 13th Company to realspace from 10,000 Terran years fighting the Forces of Chaos in the Warp during the 13th Black Crusade. Several tank variants used by the Imperial Guard have been named after him. The Leman Russ tank is the most prominent, and several sub-variants of that pattern of tank also exist in widespread use in the Imperium of Man, such as the Leman Russ Demolisher.

- Momentous Characters Of Warhammer 40,00 Universe -
Armanneus Valthex
Armanneus Valthex, also known as the Alchemancer, was the Master of the Forge of the Astral Claws as well as Lufgt Huron’s personal armourer. He fought in the Badab War on the Secessionist side and is now Forge Master of the Red Corsairs.
Biography
A man of singular intellect and driven curiosity, Valthex's skills as a crafter of poisons and chemical weaponry were as infamous as his abilities as a forge-wright and tech-smith were famed. It was he Lufgt Huron turned to in order to expand his Chapter's military might to keep pace with it's increasing ranks. A true genius and polymath, Valthex was known to have been singled out for his technical brillance even as a young recruit, and in his later career the Magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus consulted him on certain matters pertaining to the deeper mysteries of Astartes technology on which he was widely regarded as one of the greatest living experts.
During the Badab War, Valthex fought as a field commander and as chief siege engineer, and it was believed that it was he that carried away his fallen Lord's body into the Maelstrom after the apocalyptic final battle for the Palace of Thorns.Valthex would later assist Lord Apothecary Garreon in saving Huron's life, an act which has earned both Marines Huron's gratitude and left them largely immune to his wrath.
Weapons and Abilities
As the Astral Claws chief of Techmarines, Valthex was entrusted with a device known as the Indynabula Array; a relic handed down the centuries as a symbol of his office. This ancient machine, believed to pre-date the Chapter's founding is a servo-mechanical system of maddening complexity and wide-ranging ability which far supersedes that carried by normal Techmarines in their duties. Valthex was not only able to master this mysterious device but further added to it a powerful conversion beam projector of his own construction.

Kill-ships are unique weapon relics used by the Deathwatch. They are actually automated drone-ships guided by the most sophisticated of War-spirits, designed with the singular task of conducting Exterminatus operations in the most extreme of circumstances on worlds that are believed to be completely lost to the Imperium.
To aid them on their mission, Kill-ships are equipped with unique examples of long lost cloaking technology that date back to the Dark Age of Technology. This allows the drone-ship to enter into the target system completely undetected where it can manage to slip past any defensive sentries and reach the target world itself. Once there, the Kill-ship drops its lethal payload onto the planet below whereupon it performs a slingshot maneuver to escape the region by using the world's own gravity well. As the vessel escapes, its actions are felt by the apocalyptic devastation it leaves in its wake that serves as a final act of denial and vengeance upon the enemies of Man.
