Ok guys so i know its not QUITE finished but i promised i'd have something up this week and i have less than an hour left
I'll get the to be added sections filled in tonight or tomorrow
so without further ado
*clears throat*

EMPIRES OF ASHES
The phoenix Isle. A great continent in the middle of the ocean. A land ravaged by war for as long as there have been men to record it. Thousands have died on these shores, and thousands more will do. Empires have risen and fallen, and only the strongest last until the modern day. Some have claimed it is all a great game of life and death played by a pair of twisted gods, but most discredit them. What is certain however, is that from wingtip to wingtip, life in the phoenix isle is hard for all within its borders.

I would suggest the us of spoiler tabs. Just so people don't have to scroll down for too long.

Am i right to assume that this is basically what you already told me before?
And based on the skimming i now quickly did, its basically alternate medieval universe?
Also, did you adress the issues i mentioned before?

One, do use spoiler tags. This is a lot of scrolling.
Two, i can only remember the geological abnormalities:

Just how impossibly unlikely is it that a pangea forms in such a unique, complex and symmetrical shape?
How did those northern isles end up that way? No island creating geological activity i know of peppers a sea with islands just like that.(the red ones)
The northern and southern mountain ranges in the middle make no sense. If im missing something, could you attach a map with tectonic plates?
The vein, as i mentioned before, makes absolutely no sense. if its a river, how does it perfectly follow the curve of continent, not to mention flowing paralell to mountain ranges? It just makes no sense. I could only imagine it plausible that way if its a gorge as a result of continental drifting. Fracturing, to be specific, since there already are mountain ranges along it so the cant only just be drifting together. But even that isnt plausible. Continents dont split just like that along their whole length.
And now you added a second river intersecting the vein? How does that work? Not to mention that it seems to originate from the northern ocean and fliws into the southern ocean, in a rather stable way, if theres already such a huve delta there. How? Why is the level of the northern ocean so muchhigher than the southern that it can push water through an entire continent, especially since its clear that both are part of the world ocean and should thus be roughly similar level. In fact, it would flow into the ocean in the beginning of that peninsula anyway, not spread out all over it.

You either have to adress those, or ill classify it as deus ex machina, and as such, it will no longer qualify as normal fantasy, but high fantasy, which entails a whole load of trouble, even if we leave the elves and co out of it

Not necessarily naz
Afterall look at Game of thrones
A supposed 'low' fantasy, and yet look at the seasons
Summers and winters that are decades long, heavily hinted to be the result of two gods struggling
And landmarks like the neck very specifically said to be created by magic

I dont watch got, as you know. But longer seasons are easily explained by orbital mechanics. I dont know the map of got.
But if gods are involved, it no longer low fantasy. Theres nothing wrong with that, but you said you wanted this to be low fantasy.
Now ill be gone. Hard to type on a moving train.

Checked on the neck. im not detecting any significant abnormalities in its geology. unusual, yes, but nothing unnatural. am i missing something?

it was created by magic
the children of the forest flooded the land by bringing in the sea with magic
they did the same to separate westeros and essos

Okay, im not debating westeros history here. i was simply saying that your map makes no geological sense whatsoever unless someone is intentionally maintaining that state/created it so it would remain so for a long time.

Therefore, gods are involved. and where gods are involved, theres any number of weird shit, magic being the least outstanding, and therefore you failed at keeping it low fantasy..... unless it was aliens.... thats always a valid option...

erm... maybe instead of putting the entirety of your history in a spoiler you could've put every section in a spoiler right under it's title like:

History
[spoiler]

Military
[spoiler]

just my thought anyway

OOC: also, honestly, i think the game is just filled with cheaters... i know it sounds like a noob crying after he isnt good at the game in the first 3 hours, but theres no way in high hell that everyone knows exactly where the others are going to show up all the time... They just come around the corner already shooting at exactly where the opponents are(yes, i know theres a radar thingie but you cant use that constantly, especially not while firing)
and often i get confirmed hits on someone, he kills me then i see that he is still at max HP...
